About Me

The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead Don't Look Back Poster

Being influenced by my brother, I fell in love with this drama. After having waited for several months, Season 5 finally came out!

My favourite character was Daryl at first. But I found that Rick was gradually charming when the drama went on. I like that he could always make good decision, maintain a good heart but also decisive in critical moment.

I can’t bear it if any main characters die at this stage……

Chasing Mavericks 2012 衝浪傳奇/衝破極限

I forget where and when I had glimpsed the movie long time ago. I just remembered that it was a scene the protagonist surged a very big wave and the tone was beautiful.  I decided that I must find out the movie and watch it.

Yesterday I wanted to watch “Seven Years in Tibet” but both my 2 computers could not play the DVD. Suddenly I thought about this movie as I was reading working holiday info in Australia with lots of surfing spots. Also, after watching the Extreme Sports video shown during the Social English lesson, I suddenly wanna try surfing as it was really a beautiful sports. So I just typed “surfing” on the Internet and found it.

Although the reviews of this movie were so-so, I enjoyed it very much, especially it was a true-story talking about a boy with unswerving determination which touched me. The surfing scene was truly beautiful.

I like sports. But I always think that I would never try surfing and mountain-biking as they look dangerous and scary. Now, I changed my mind.

The Way

This is the first time I heard about Camino de Santiago, Way of St. James as known in English, a pilgrimage route. The storyline is simple and the plot is not too deep. It talks about a father heads overseas to recover the body of his estranged son who died while traveling El camino de Santiago, and decides to take the pilgrimage himself. But it is truly moving.

I like the mood and the music very much. It is quiet, but powerful and thought provoking.Tyler Bates's score sounds incredible. I had tears running down my cheeks when the father decided to cremated the son's body. The journey between parent and children can be long, but it is much closer then we think.

Recently I wanna watch movies relating to traveling or journeys. It builds up my mood to get ready for adventures, and more prepared for staying alone.
